Free Eye Checkup Camp

campBlind Persons Association today conducted a free eye checkup camp near Lal Bihari Shah Braille Academia at Hatipara, Mallickpur, South 24 Parganas. Eyes of around 150 patients were checked up by a team of doctors in this camp. The entire medical team came from Netra Niramay Niketan of Amtala, a wing of Chaitanyapur Vivekananda Mission.

Blind Persons’ Association mainly works for the welfare of the sightless people. However, they consider it their duty to serve the society in some way or the other. Recently they collected relief for the flood victims of West Bengal. They did the same when lacs of people suffered from the earthquake in Nepal in April.
