Sherlock Holmes in Braille

We are proud to announce the embossing in Braille of “A Study in Scarlet”, one of the four Sherlock Holmes novels by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859 – 1930). This was the first Sherlock Holmes story by Conan Doyle in 1886. The author initially could not find a publisher for this novel. Who knew then that this was going to be the beginning of an era? Incidentally, Dr. Watson met Sherlock Holmes for the first time in this story and they decided to share the legendary flat at 221B Baker Street in London to save expenses. The roommates became bosom friends and we got the series of detective stories.

This Braille version is completed in two volumes and will cost INR 120. Students in India may get it for INR 20 only. Visit our Braille catalogue for details.
